CSSE Announces 2012 Male Graduating Class
Chico’s School of Soccer Excellence (CSSE) is proud to announce the 2012 men’s graduating class.
The following 1994 born players have graduated from high school this summer and have committed to various Universities and Colleges for the 2012-13 season.
Dami Adegunle – CSSE Impact U18 – Dami has been training with CSSE for 3 years and has consistently improved his soccer skills throughout that time. Dami, a striker, is known for his amazing speed, fast foot work and he loves to put the ball in the back of the net. Dami has committed to the University of Sioux Falls, South Dakota for his collegiate career. USF is a member of NCAA Division II athletics and play in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. The University of Sioux Falls head men's soccer coach Paul Bennett picked up Dami after seeing him at the Omaha FC College Scouting tournament this past January. We wish Dami all the best in his collegiate soccer career!
Justin Lawrie – CSSE Impact U18 – Justin has signed with Concordia University Bulldogs in Nebraska for his collegiate soccer career. Justin has been training with CSSE since 2007 in both the group training and one on one with Chico. Justin, a defender, is known for his speed and tenacity. Concordia University plays in the NAIA in the Great Plains Athletic Conference. Coach Weides saw Justin at the 2012 Omaha FC College Recruiting tournament and snapped him up. We wish Justin great success as a Bulldog!
CSSE Technical Director, Chico Andrade, is very happy to share the news of the collegiate signings. He is very proud of all the players and wishes them all the best. He knows the sacrifices they have all made and the hours and hours of training time that they have committed to soccer. They deserve everything they have worked so hard for and he hopes that they have very successful careers.
CSSE runs on a full-time basis, provides year-round programming, and is one of the few soccer schools that exist outside the jurisdiction of the five district soccer clubs in Winnipeg. The non-partisan nature of the school has contributed to its longevity. The school thrives on flexible program design and responsiveness to needs of parents and players. CSSE has been successful in developing many provincial level players and has also seeded many players on the National Training Centre and Regional Training Centre programs. CSSE is focused on developing players to their full potential to obtain college scholarships.
