Important Game Day Information
As we approach week 3 of our summer session (and week 11 overall), we would like to provide some important feedback to our membership to ensure we move forward in a positive manner.
Please read the information below carefully before your next scheduled match.
1. Game Day Information
SAAC will provide game day information as we receive it via our twitter account. This includes notices of field closures, or any last minute changes that coaches, parents and players need to be aware of. You are encouraged to either follow the twitter account: @AcademySoccerCa, or check the latest updates on the SAAC website (www.saac.ca - bottom of the left column)
2. Responsibilities at the Facility
All SAAC member staff, players and parents are expected to follow the Code of Conduct for SAAC, and the rules of the individual facilities. Specifically, this means:
Smoking is NOT Allowed on ANY property being used by SAAC for competitions (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Pets are NOT Allowed on the grounds of The Country Day School in King City.
Water bottles, coffee cups, ankle tape and other waste is to be collected and disposed of before leaving the facility.
Violators will be given a warning for a first offence, and sent home for subsequent offences. Teams that do not leave the bench areas in the condition they found them will be fined.
3. Fan Behaviour
Fan behaviour has been steadily improving over the first few months, which is much appreciated. A reminder to fans that they are welcome to cheer on their players, but the must not interact with the players or officials, or send instructions from the sidelines. Again, persistent violators will be warned and then asked to leave if they continue with inappropriate behaviour.
4. Concessions
A notice to all members that an Ice Cream truck will be at each Saturday scheduled at The Country Day School in King City, should you wish to satisfy your sweet tooth while taking in a game. The will also have water, sport drinks and coffee available.
Thank you all for your cooperation. I look forward to a positive and successful season.
