SAAC Challenges
Since 2010, SAAC has been hosting Spring and Fall challenges to provide its members and invited guest a special day of soccer at the beginning and end of the outdoor season.
The Spring Challenges held each April provide a great opportunity for Academies and guest teams to prepare for the outdoor season.
The Fall Challenges in October serve as a season-end report card, a way to perform a final assessment of the outdoor season before moving into the winter break.
The challenges will have a new format for 2013. The challenges will now be 2-day events with each team being guaranteed 3 games over the weekend. Games will follow the SAAC competition philosophy which implements the LTPD plan and is modeled after some of the most successful academy programs in the world.
As in previous years, the U8 Division will be ‘Festival’ format and no champion will be declared.
